I payed £3000 for mine at the beginning of this year. Its a K plate, but its mint and had only done 59,000 and had FRSH, its probably worth a bit less now but you get the picture.
Go to autotrader.co.uk and do a national search for them, it will give you an idea of the going rate.
Mine definately arent fog lights. I wouldnt even describe them as driving lamps either, you could look directly into them from about two inches away and you wouldnt even blink. Theyre purely cosmetic, they might fill a little bit of the road directly below the bumper but thats it.

Strange, i expected the spider to be much lighter and quicker than that. Theyre a bit expensive for the performance considering theyre not much more than a willy really.

No it doesnt unfortunatly. I specified Magnatec at my last service cos i do a lot of short journeys (not for much longer).
It still taps like hell from cold, but it usually goes away after a few seconds. It kept doing it for about a minute this morning though. (it was pretty cold)
I had a similar problem this morning. I think it might be the time of year. I do a lot of short journeys at the moment, most of the time with the lights, stereo, heated window and fan on, so the battery doesnt really charge.

If you use polyester as the resin then it would probably have a top working temp of about 80 degrees centigrade (which might be o.k.). Epoxy resin has a much higher working temp and can easily be used for a bonnet.
If a decent design with suitable bracing can be found, its perfectly possible...

My mates now thinking of getting the turbo technics supercharger, that would probably mean it would at least keep up with an evo till 100 (12.5 secs). It costs 5 gs though.

Ive driven an elise (a lucky b*****d friend of mine has one) and theyre not that quick on acceleration. An evo should leave one for dead. Theyre as quick as anything round corners and on the brakes though. (as long as youve got a 400kg brake foot)
