    Suspension Help-MOT Failure

Hi mate, Saw the part on Eurocar parts (cheers for the link) F1 Autocentre are charging £100 for supply and fit and the cheeky buggars want £25 for adjusting the headlights. Does £100 sound reasonable. My mechanic said he could do it for £85 but not until next friday and by then no free MOT...

A productive morning in the office clio pics

I like everything bar the splitters, so mentioned take of the Seat one and it looks great. As you have said though each to their own and I have had quite a few comments about my spoiler, angle eyes and stripes, but I like them and they keep the car unique. If you like everything thats been...

    Colour Coding

I needed 2 for my side trims, would have thought it would also do the bullets, but I used a different colour. I would have a guess at 6/7 cans in your car colour, also need approx 4 of plastic primer and 4 laquer. Just my opinion though and an estimate

    Suspension Help-MOT Failure

Cool, don't have the lights anymore. I think the problem is the aim adjuster at the back, which I am led to believe is not part of the lights. I know if you open the bonnet you can see a cricular space on the edge of the engine bay and below it a plastic nut type thing. By inserting a...

    Suspension Help-MOT Failure

OK, if it take it back to the MOT station they should be able to do it then shouldn't they, they asked if the car had been lowered and had replacement struts and then said it was the strut that was knackered. Not once did they say they could fix it and try to sell that to me which you'd expect...

It its anything like mine it is a load of crap anyway. Fill the tank up, and reset the trip. used about 3/4 of the tank and done 120 miles, yet it takes the remaining 1/4 will do over 200 miles before needing to fill up. It's rubbish!

Defrosting in the morn..... would this work??

I think its been said before but rainex works well at minimising the severity of the frost on the windscreen and I also have the antimist wipes for the inside and again they work well. Just whack the heater on for a min and its cleared.

    undercar lighting

I think these neons look good, but not with the Zenon headlights, as mentioned if you had the usual yellowy headlight bulbs it would go together better, but I think you did a good job with the fitting and your car is unique. I do think these neons on a LY RS would look spot on.

    Replacing a Coil.

Thanks mate, Yeah looking at there bills it is always about £30-£40 for the part and the rest is diagnostics and labour. That is why I'd much rather do it myself if I could. One quick question, how do you identify which one the offending one is. Thanks

    Respray quote (I lol'd, hard)

I was quoted £2k from Dawsons in Ferndown to spray my old car, mitsubishi Colt in Metallic Black and that was about 4/5 years ago. My rear bumper respray after an accident was £200 and the rear quarter panel was a further £350 from Oops. Spoiler I had done by the Olympian bodyshop when it was...
