I'm starting to suspect this myself, although I have been taking my cars to this garage for years with no problems. They do have a couple of pikey-looking plook-faced apprentices now though.
Is it true that F4R's dont have a rocker cover gasket? He said you use some sort of paste that you get...
No, that's the weird thing. He asked if I could smell burning oil in the cabin, I said no to which he replied I must have because oil on the manifold would've stunk. I've had no puddles under the car, and the level was fine last week at the RR day.
My car is currently in getting it's 24k service, and I've just had a phone call from the mechanic saying there is a really bad oil leak coming from the back of the engine and dripping onto the manifold. I asked if it was the rocker cover gasket, he said no, its the crank-case and it is a big job...
Yeah it was me you were talking to matey, was taking note of how you entered the exige lol - arse first, then swing the legs in! I was trying to get in and out of Justin's the other week and I looked like a total twonk :D
John's car is really nice, especially with the lotus wheels n suspension...
^ John your VX is fookin' lush mate. I am sooo tempted! Been looking at lightning yellows for a while now, I wish I didnt love my cup so much lol
I was gutted you left early on Saturday before I could steal a shot.
Wow that is shocking that they take standard Reno discs and just drill them and pass them off as their own. Renault should sue their asses.
Hope you get your money back dude, Ive personally never bought anything off them as I've always thought KTR were a bit iffy.
Just bought a PSP off a guy in work, got it cheap but it is missing the top of the wee directional joystick at the bottom left. I can still use it without, but I would like to replace it. Does anyone know where I could buy one of these?
I used a jubilee clip on mine, went on no probs. However I've been told that cars with ABS have an ABS sensor down there that is likely to be hit with the screw drive on a jubilee clip? Can anyone confirm this?
Yeah Kenny Brown Motorsport Engineering will do a proper job mate.

I use FK's and they are great imo, a little stiff but I like them like that.
Not got a picture, but it's behind the engine against the bulkhead at the left hand side. You will need to take the engine cover off to get into it.
Haynes dont do a manual for the renaultsports afaik, you can buy the reno mechanics manual (the one the dealerships use) but its about 70 quid...
I've been getting those baked-on speckles ever since I changed my pads to Mintex extreme. I tried wonder wheels last weekend, didnt work at all, although I could scrape the speckles off with my fingernail? It will take me forever with my finger though so I'm gonna look for a slightly harsher...
Mine touch the shock on one side on full lock, I think there may be a very slight twist in it, passed the mot no probs though. I think the tester may be an anus lol
