Fitted it today after giving the main frame a quick lick of white hammerite. Was a total baisterd to fit myself, had to eventually take the front seats out and fight with it for two hours to get the cage to marry up to the cross members. But after a lot of cursing it finally all fitted together...
One of the cleaners in my work accused me of driving like a lunatic in Springburn, weaving in and out of traffic. "What was the regy?" I asked.
"jeekum or summat" was the reply.
Gaz you are gonna get me in bother lol
I tested this theory out at the gym. I weighed myself on a set of scales and I was 98kg.
I then pushed an identical set right beside them and put one foot on each.
Each scale said I was 56 kg.
So Matt's right, it doesnt work.
Agreed. Proper camber set up/corner weighting ftw
Mine sit a lot higher than yours though Christopher and it still scrubs like a b**ch when driving hard through the twisties.
I have just aquired one of these cages (thanks Bill n Iain btw) and hopefully will be picking it up this weekend. I dont mean to be a copycat, but it was always my vision for my cup to have a white rollcage, so mine'll look very similar indeed :o
