Another thing i forgot to mention was that i didn't burn out either as i didn't want to ruin my tyre's and as a result i got quite a lot of wheelspin off the line so i probably lost anything up to half a second there. I'm happy with the 15.9 as a starting place, bearing in mind i wasn't prepared...
Drag racing will not break your car, it's no worse than setting off from a roundabout onto a dual carriageway and flooring it to get up to speed, if something does break then it was going to happen out on the roads anyway eventually!, probably much less likely to break something on a dragstrip...
Just wondering if it's realistically possible to get much better than the 15.9 i got last monday at york, no stripped out racers though guys, i'm only intersted in almost standard full fat 182's and 172's cheers
Yeah i saw you mate :), your's has the spoiler on the top of the back window right?......if so i think i got one or two of your runs on camcorder, my mate was there filming for me.

Hello mate, welcome to CS
the choice of what to get would depend a lot on what you have to spend, if you can afford a v6 then get one but remember your performance won't be that much better than a 182 and for the extra cash i'd only get one if i had loads of spare money, belts are the main thing...
Depends what quality you want to achieve in the end, i use windows movie maker as it's free anyway but for better quality ie HD then i use sony the PMB software that came with my sony HD camera.
Hello Lisa, welcome to CS :)
The main thing to have done i would say is your belts, mine is a 2004 182 and i am having mine done next week, it's not cheap either so fingers crossed yours has already been done when you get it.
