Hello Drew mate, welcome to CS :)
loads of advice on here but i'll give you a start off.....
if you want loads of comfort and toys then go for a 182 full fat, you'll get air con, cruise control, speed limiter, twin tailpipes etc etc but thats not to say they will work forever though :(including...
I was thinking of going back then too but might wait till ultimate RWYB at the begining of october.....i think i need to try a different launch though, my mate said i was screeching tyres all the way through the 60 foot marker :).......some of that is due to cheap tyres i think though :(
I know what you mean about running against the same car all day, i did 5 runs on the monday and three of those i got my arse kicked by that turbo'd corsa.....lol, problem is it looks crappy on film even though i know they say it's not a race :)
sorry it took a little time coming mate and for the quality too, i had my camcorder but the batteries went dead half way through the day so this was taken on the cameras video option.
I went up against that pug too, think he was running high 15's.
this is it in a previous livery, i'll get him to do some new pics asap.......
shame i don't have video but i wasn't at elvington the day he ran, it was mainly a straightliners bike event, he ran in the demo class i think
Yeah it is mate, i put it there for him, looks a little different now though, the front is white but the back half is blue, still a real beast though :)
That's a similar answer i got the other day from your parents when i went to pick my 182 up after they did the belts and brakes for me, i asked if it was safe to push the engine hard soon after having the belts done......to which the reply was that it's fine but that you'll probably be half way...
Thought the stickers might not be to everyone's taste :), i got them from ebay, they were about £4 for 8 stickers in 2 different sizes and you can specify the colour you want.
Thought i might revive this thread a little as i'm just playing FF12 again after a long break, am i the only one who prefers the new battle system?, i didn't play FF7 but i did finish FF10 and i much prefer this way of fighting but i must be alone as i think for FF13 next year they are going...
Spent a whole week getting them right and after about a dozen coats of paint i think they look ok now :)
Black bullets with silver writing
Black Diamonds on front, back and wheel centres
Small silver Renault Sport stickers
Bound to put extra stress on internals but many kit car builders use stock 2.0L honda vtec engines and supercharge them with no problem, Renault would have had to build the RS engines with a degree of tolerance which should accomodate an extra 60 or 70bhp without too many problems.
Not sure about anyone else but with that supercharger on a clio i could get insured for around £700-£800......i couldn't get a quote for an Evo or a skyline for under £2000 when i tried and that was as standard so going by that the supercharger pays for itself in three years, try modifying those...
That's not too bad at all really, mine is about £550 with the exhaust mod, if i went for a supercharger i think i would have to go with Adrian Flux too as i'm sure that Esure would be wanting me to remortgage my house :)
Looks really good though mate, hope i'll get to hear it too one day
Brilliant mate, engine bay still looks a lot more standard than i thought it would, might be tempted into this myself now that i've just had both belts done at pauls parents garage.
How do you even start to get insurance for something like that?, my company wanted an extra £70 a year just for a...
Hello mate, welcome to CS :)
I'd know that scooby anywhere ;) seeing as though i got to ride in it to york raceway.
believe me when i say it was and always will be the scariest car i'll ever ride in, my 182 is fast but nothing compared to that.
Hoping to get to see it go down the strip myself...
