Hi mate welcome :) Black smoke is unburnt fuel as said. Does it clear after you put your foot down or is it continuous ? Is it only when you put your foot down hard or does it smoke all the while ? And is low on power ? :)

Yeah you got it :) don't want a t28 because of the spool up :) so I'm going for a garratt t 25 like you say. Surprisingly expensive now though as they seem to be getting less common.

You won't lose any spool up speed bro. It'll be the same because the pipe will be the same all the way along. As long as you don't go smaller than the original diameter.

Shouldn't think so if you just pipe that's the same size as the turbo exhaust. Then it'll make no difference. If you have a wider exhaust from the turbo back then you'd have less back pressure and quicker spool up.

You could just use the same size pipe as the rest of the exhaust. If your just removing the cat.

Yeah the stickers aren't cs standard bit I like them. And I've got a skoda fabia one to go on just to tidy it up. As I ripped the standard one off when the car was lower !!

Well that's 2.5mm to small all the way round the centre bore. You could have it machined out wouldn't cost much .

I'm all for turbo mate. But throttle bodies are equally awesome just your not going to be get as much power

Could look really nice, look at mine "Tonka Trucks" and "DCI RAZ'S" for some ideas. (theres are better than mine). but really they need to be 15's /16's at most. they slow you down in acceleration. :) look forward to seeing how this goes.

cheers bro :) Yeah originally I intended on decatting and mapping but I decided against it as I've been building my turbo mx5 so not doing any power mods to this for the time being. Just detailing and getting stanced right :)
