If you get it running use a bottle of injector cleaner on it.
If its not firing at all when you crank it, then it's not getting fuel at all. Under the bonnet have a look at the priming pump there should be fuel in clear pipes to it and from if there's not then you've probably got an air leak...
Hi guys been offered a ph1 drivers door (3door) as a replacement for my ph2 3 door, can any one give a definitive answer that they are exactly the same. As it won't be test fitted before its painted.
Thanks.

Like this one bud ? I quite like that :)
Will see if they've got one in stock :)
I'm popping in to renault tomorrow and as i ripped my splitter off my ph2 in the snow. I was wondering if there were any nice one from other models that can be modded to fit?
:)
Well done for passing in my opinion keep the oem wheels and just make it look oem plus will draw less attention to your car :) and look sick.
Sport interior next?
All depends on what coilovers you buy i run vmax coilys. mum went in to my car to day and hated it. funny though :) ( i love it )
and err you can buy spacers from pretty much anywhere. but if there ones that go on the hub where you bolt the wheel on you'll need longer wheel bolts you can get...
Fit coilovers then ride height is adjustable, if you space the wheels then your turning circle will be bigger but you shouldn't really notice it.
All you need to do is measure up under the arch to see how much room you have to space the wheels i would suggest you could probably fit 12.5mm on...
Update coming tomorrow hopefully :)
Got some brembo front disks and pads to really improve the braking :) already good though.
and with a bit of luck will have a couple of wheels in primer by end of play tomorrow :)
Just a question, if you had the 172 pistons and 197 head and cams etc so running lower compression would that not be a good basis for a boosted engine? if the rods can take it?
I'm not sure if they :) just curious !
Nice one mate. is that near side or off side? cause well left depends whether you're in the drivers seat or looking at the car from in front of the bonnet lol!
The hunt is on for dodgy wiring tomorrow i guess :)
The autoheadlights, dipped beam, rear lights, and interior dash lights are all on the same relay! And i bet you anymoney its fallen out! (exact same problem happened to me).
Have a look under the passenger dash and the relays are upside down. when they started coming out all sorts of funny...
Nahh i want it to be mint! but i'm not paying £270 pound for a new steering wheel lol! Is there a guide to checking the horn wiring? never taken a steering wheel apart :/
I'll keep an eye out for one second hand in that case. Hard to find them mint though.
My horn is a bit intermitten well. hardly ever works. and i have my MOT soon.
I was intending on buying a new steering wheel from Renault direct any one done this before? Price?
Cheers
when you bolt it up without the spigot ring all the wheel bolts are tapered and will self align them selves. i have them on mine. (oz f1's) i honestly cant see why it'd make any difference. they don't take any wait i don't think.
