My missus is getting her first car in the next couple of weeks. She has see a 2005 clio for sale at the local Renault Sunwin garage (known to be a bit of a rip off). It's done 37k miles, looks in good nick, fairly standard spec... It's up for £4990, which to me is a bit over priced...but...

I suppose asking on a clio forum is a bit silly lol. the only reason I sold my clio was cos I'd spent so much on it and unless i went for throttle bodies that was all I could do. and as it was on coilovers, the ride quality was awful around my end, the roads are full of pot holes, bumps, speed...

After selling my 172 which was awesome and I loved how it looked and drove (now cliolou's car), I'm tempted to come back and get either an RB or black gold 182. Not bothered about spending loads on it, just the usual sheep stuff like silvervisions, maybe eibach -30mm springs and coloured...

on a low ish budget, a stripped out 206 GTI mi16 with TBs if not, then as AR said, a 197 with coilies, TBs, exhaust etc
