My missus is getting her first car in the next couple of weeks. She has see a 2005 clio for sale at the local Renault Sunwin garage (known to be a bit of a rip off).
It's done 37k miles, looks in good nick, fairly standard spec...
It's up for £4990, which to me is a bit over priced...but...
I suppose asking on a clio forum is a bit silly lol.
the only reason I sold my clio was cos I'd spent so much on it and unless i went for throttle bodies that was all I could do. and as it was on coilovers, the ride quality was awful around my end, the roads are full of pot holes, bumps, speed...
After selling my 172 which was awesome and I loved how it looked and drove (now cliolou's car), I'm tempted to come back and get either an RB or black gold 182.
Not bothered about spending loads on it, just the usual sheep stuff like silvervisions, maybe eibach -30mm springs and coloured...
so the legend of CS millionaires is actually true.
Christ that's a nice car. I'll always remember seeing a white gallardo booting it in central london....in a built up area. Oh the racket was beautiful
I'm considering going back to the dark side. I loved my 172 and spending loooads on it (regret now how to be honest lol). But I'm thinking of getting a BG 182, getting some coilovers and some white, 15" speedline 2118s. My astra drinks fuel!
glad you're still loving it :) i loved every minute of it and put a lot of effort and money into it, so I'm glad some little scrote didn't buy it lol!!
DC2 is a good shout, probably a bit like stepping into a worm hole when you get inside cos apart from the seats they are like a horse cart inside.
A lad I know owns this one, looks schweet
Hmm decisions...the thing is though, I've decided after owning a turbo, I'm definitely an NA person, unless it was an evo or similar which I couldn't afford even if I wanted one. Just trying to think of a decent NA for around 6k thats no a million years old. I looked at E36 M3s today as well...
Yet another one of these threads lol, everyone seems to be selling then regretting it. This is my old one (now owned by cliolou)
A few things bugged me, i.e. seat position, rattles and the hard ride (which wouldn't be too bad, but english roads are f**king sh*t).
I'm quite tempted to get...
