As above, Id be looking for an engine if I was you, just get a low'ish mileage unit with service history with belts done. For belts, gaskets, valves your talking £250+ in parts thats without considering the fact you might have to replace the head. A good engine can be had for £500 and save agro

yer fast flash means there some sort of immobiliser problem, but have seen it with flat battery problems before too, is the batt fully charged?

does it bump start? if so then corroded starter connection maybe. Got to be electrical if not. have you kept your ecu or swopped it for one with new engine

There all like this standard, why would you want a lot of power from cold? Thrashing it from cold will end up killing your engine

by 'wrong' exhaust you mean its not genuine then your correct rollo. Otherwise I dont see how you can say its wrong

Probably is down to new exhaust, could be a number of things but unless it comes on again dont worry

If its gone off again I wouldnt worry. The lights usually comes on and stays on if theres a problem. If you have a de-cat the light being on is pretty much the norm

IIRC yes on the fronts. As for the rears I just made sure the writing was the rite way up

cups dont have side airbags but do have pre-tensioners. Cut the block off the seat and use an electrical block connector to join then. By electrical block I mean the ones where you put wires in the hole and tighten down with a screw
