Like I said before, the exhaust system has been badly fitted. Its standard, but the garage I got the car from and changed the backbox before I picked it up. Its not been right since I got it. Will try sorting it myself, feck it up and pay twice as much as I would have had to do before to get...
C3P0 - I was just answering your questions. If you already knew I was right, why imply that I am insane or something for posting those times?
Have you tried http://www.saxosportsclub.co.ukwww.saxosportsclub.co.uk. Itd be more suited to your generally argumentative attitude and apparent love of...
All Clios from 98> use the same size & shape rear clusters.
I reckon Lexus style lights look tacky and overly fussy. Theyre just lights. I dont get it? Do they do something special? Why would anyone want their car to look like a Lexus? Is it to go with pipe and slippers...
I get the heat shield rattles too :(. Such a shame as the engine sounds brilliant (once its warmed up and stopped pretending to be a tractor). There seems to be a shield that goes right round the downpipe which looks like its missing a nut and bolt. Maybe this is the guilty culprit for my...
Erm.......yes :p
I dont approve of sticking a 172 badge on a DCi or a Williams badge on an RT or even a ZR180 badge on a Williams! Still, each to there own, beauty in the eye of the beholder, no accounting for taste etc. etc.
Getting the same feeling. De-catted the car again and it really shifts and sounds great, but the badly fitted exhaust system is banging against the underside of the car and pissing me off so much.
Im depressed too. :-(
Going to have to fork out more money to get someone to take the system...
Hard for any of us to say. Most companies do not like Trading Standards making enquiries about them. If you give them a call and explain exactly what happened, they will be able to advise you over the phone of whether you will be able to get anything out of them or not. Id say youve got a good...
Hiya, I know Woodseats well. Used to live opposite the Big Tree and my ex still lives on Woodseats Road.
Think Im going to go to York on the 26th and the one in July and I might go down to the French Car Show (25th May?).
Never raced an RSi before, so yeah, im up for a blast. Down...
Dash, Im only stirring the sh*t ;) Give me the choice between a Williams and a V6 and Id take the V6 any day of the week despite any shortcomings it might have.
Oh yeah, if people didnt have a "machoistic boyracering testosterone bagage" thing going on, then thered be no-one for you to blow...
Wheres the best place to get new gaskets from? Tried Euro car parts and they dont stock them . Doing the decat is pretty easy though. Just need some Firegum from Halfords to put either side of the gaskets.

Depends how deep the scratches are. If its just through the clear coat (the laquer on top of the paint) there are ways of getting the scratches out. If its gone through the paint layer to the primer, then get a professional to sort it out.

Back on topic.....!
The AP22 is no guarantee of an accurate figure either Im afraid. It might have said 10.7 seconds, but there is no way a 1.2 16v is going to do 60 in mid- 10 seconds. My 1.4 16v would just scrape it in 10.5 and that had an extra 25bhp or so.
The AP22 will vary on how it is...
Itll be quicker that the Corsa and a much much nicer car than the Corsa, but it isnt going to set the world on fire in the performance department. If you can afford the insurance, have a look at 1.4 16v Clios as they have about 25bhp more than the 1.2 16v and a fair bit more go.
