I have a valver and was looking at a wide track conversion or spacers etc.
Spacers will help but they still will not be as good as a full conversion as the williams conversion gived you 'beefy wider' anti roll bars and also different geomtry inculding the suspension struts. Its not all about...
Do you really think a seller would let you remove their inlet mani and preform a compression test?? ha ha ha. Its not like you can just wip the inlet mani off that easy! I would tell you to get lost. :D
Im trying to sell my ph1 172 right now and thats in good con with only 47k miles all belts done etc. I'm hoping for around £3,400......
Cars are like anything, you get what you pay for.
ph1 172
Angel works matched inlets
Cat back zorst
RS tuning custom map
ITG Panel filter with up rated CAF
Not rolling RR'd but would estimate 180-185bhp.
My valver is running 201 BHP from a low boost turbo conversion. Figures proven on RR.
One is a poverty spec stripped hot hatch the other has pub talk dampers and lovely recaro seats. Cant really compare as there is about a 3-4k price difference so most people go on what they can afford.
My 172 has let me down twice and both were horrible places to break down, lucky never anything major as of yet.
One was old battery
Fuel relays were corroded and popped, just replaced them and everything is fine.
I have some very strange electrical issues with my 172, I hope someone can cast some light on it.:dapprove:
A couple of weeks ago I parked up after a short journey, pulled the key out of the ignition and the oil pressure warning light started flickering, then other lights on my dash started...
Mike, only go for a sport when you really can afford one. I went for one too early and had to sell it, but then bought again when I could afford it.
I know you have something against ph1's but they are going to be much more affordable and having owned a 182, 172 ph2, valver and ph1 172 the...
This is exactly whats happening to me. I will be picking my 58 plate Vauxhall Vectra up at the end of August, I will be selling the 172 but keeping the valver as a track car.
Not sure if I will cancel personal insurance on the valver and trailer it. Dont think I will get a big refund anyway...
Turbo conversions are massive job if you have never done anything like this before.
The guy who built mine took over two years, but runs sweet as a nut now.
My conversion is a low boost low comp, good for 250bhp. Im only running about 8psi boost (200bhp) now as a precaution and make the...
Thats some ghetto wheels right there. I bet people jump for cover when you drive past thinking that your a drive by gangsta for show!
How much do these extend your penis by?
Do you know what a slipping clutch feels like?
The engine revs will build but the car will not accerlate in time with the revs. Clutches normaly dont completly fail they just start to slip and get worse as they wear.
If it is slipping you need to get it changed ASAP to avoid any further damage.
