    Not Clio media thats for sure! For your budget of 500 quid the only thing your goona get is an utter shed and something that needs gutting. If you spend 500 you will need to spend 2k getting it ready for track without even breaking a sweat.

    I have been to quite a few of the N.Yorkshire meets and I also attended the first ever Lincoln meet about a year ago. Not been to any recent meets, they seem to be on days im away or busy. Anyway im very busy working on the Turbo Valver now... I can't have a bodied Cup beat me can I? ;)

    I'd have thought about £2.5k A 10 point roll cage can cost £2k+ and a shell is prob worth £1k to £500 depending on condition.

    Think cheapest is the Apex -50mm kit, although on a 1.2 to I would not bother and save your cash. Think Apex spring kit comes in at the £90 mark.

    Longest final drive gear is on the ph1 172, which does about 3,200RPM @70mph. Compared to 197 box which I believe does about 3,750 RPM?

    My ph1 is still on orginal clutch. Im guessing it will be an manufactring fault, it does happen. Not to worry at least its all covered, hope you get her back soon.

    The 182 is much quicker on the straights by quite abit. Despite that the 197 is quicket round track and that has been proven on various track days and magazine tests.

    Yes they will fit. They are exactly the same seat as ph2's and 182's but just with different trim.
