Not going to be anywhere near as good as quality as Pipercross. If it's made from metal as well it's going to get some heat soak for sure, so performance gains may not be as good as expected. Still, you could buy it and let us know what you think of it.

I doubt it has a fault. The hot weather always makes the car use up more coolant in the engine.

Nope. Not according to CarbonMods description - It's genuine 100% carbon fibre and not abs 'look' carbon. I wouldn't of ordered it if it was the abs plastic. The pics of the carbon weave look pretty convincing too.

Just bagged myself a carbon fibre battery cover for 20 quid. Hopefully will be the mutts, i'll have a look when it arrives. Fortunately I have a 14 day returns policy on this product! :D

I don't recommend IK's for 1.2's. I find they cause alot of heat soak and it's all show and no go. K&N Panel filter is probably the best thing you can do to your induction system IMO. If you really want an IK then Pipercross do one for the 1.2 and K&N do the Gen 2 kit, which apparently is...

Lmao! Car's don't have IK's as standard!! Every car is usually fitted with a panel filter from factory. IK's are aftermarket parts and don't conform to manufacturer's standards/ regulations, hence why they are not on cars from factory.

We are in the 1.2 club - we need all the help we can get ffs lol!! :p .. Still, do it legally is the best way.

Just make sure they are the real deal and not some sh*tty make or rubbish that people advertise.

Direct line don't allow mod's to under 25's and IK's are known as engine modifications. They won't insure you.
