I was getting excited until I opened the thread. That's it! - Blow a man's naughty thoughts out of his head. :(
Hmm pink. No pink steering wheel cover? Pink fluffy dice? Pink seat cover? Very dissapointed in you MissH! - You have gone all this way with the pink wheels and missed all the other...
Excellent pics! Was a really good day and lovely weather for it too, if somewhat a little hot!!!
Managed to see most people's cars so was excellent and some beautiful Clio's out there ;)
Aye, the government brought in a 'War Law' so to speak that was basically any car on the road had to have a light cover to dip the beam further on the road and to cut out most of the light. Basically so German bomber's couldn't find road's to use as directions for bombing. :approve:
Ok, most people on CS are hardcore car enthusiasts (particulary Clio's). However there is a limit where you need to think to yourself - Is this really healthy or am I bordering on insane?
I am very happy that you are pleased with the 182, I would be too mate, and I love my ghey little car as...
Yes, it goes inside the cone shaped box in your engine where the induction piping is. Undo the bolts/ clips and take the original paper filter out then just place the new panel filter in it's place. Once you've stuck it in, close the filter housing and bolt it back up again.
I would...
The panel filter doesn't make as much noise if any at all because it's just replacing the original filter, but still in the original filter housing. It depends what you want. If you want performance then get a panel filter, if you want looks and sound, get an IK. Don't expect alot of gains in...
http://www.knfilters.com/search/product.aspx?Prod=E-9238 That is the link for the K&N panel filter, part number (1.2 8v) E-9238. You don't need any vacuum piping for the panel filter, just take out the original paper filter and replace with that. It's a 10 min job max.
Not another 1! I seem to be continuosly replying to induction threads lol!
Ok, the 1.2 8v you can get Pipercross IK or panel filter or the K&N Gen 2 IK or panel filter. That is about it for the 8v (same for 16v as well). And Powertec as well do a stainless steel IK - But they are shyte so...
Or his Mummy & Daddy love him so it's not his insurance and he is a named driver. ;)
If I get this new job in London, I am selling my 1.2 and getting a 182! The insurance is £450 cheaper!! Wtf?? lol (182 = 182bhp, 172 = 172bhp :S)
IMO that was inevitable really. Its a smaller induction kit, off a 1.3 as well, so your not going to gain much if anything. Just stick to IK's made for the car mate. :approve:

^ rofl! I did not "harassed, provoked and frightened that poor old timer" at all, mate! I stayed way back off his tail (I don't tailgate any car for that matter) and gave him plenty of time. I didn't flash him or wave my hand around, I gave him plenty of leway (sp). The only time I got close to...
Like ive said alot in this thread so far i have a 1.2, he was in a Skoda VRS, much more power than I will ever have in this car, so what do you expect? If I turned around and said "oh yea I completely owned a VRS" you guys would of laughed in my face. I couldn't overtake because my car couldn't...
Same applies for any 1.2 imo. We are all just as bad! But at the end of the day if people would drive normally we wouldn't have to overtake silly gits like that guy I was following yesterday. I mean 20mph under the speedlimit is just plain ridiculous in good conditions and an open road - am I...
I think its utter shyte tbh. Why spend a fortune on making a car something it wasn't supposed to be? Go out and buy a real V6. And with the 8v engine, bet a granny in a 1.0ltr Nova could chip more than that!
