My car was at its best when i had goodyear eagles f1s (old type) at the front and the original michleins at the back. Now i have new goodyear eagle f1s all round. Not very impressed. I cant slide my rear end anymore and it feels really boaty!? perhaps my shocks are shot?

mistubishi stario turbo 2.6 - slow as standard but with decat and a bigger turbo an easy 300 bhp is achieveable and mid to low 12s are an easy target if you spend about a grand on them. Look cool/retro i reckon and theres a few sites about them. RWD and fairly light weight, not to mention you...

id get the mk.1 because i think it looks more radically different from the normal clios - especially the 172s. From seeing pics of the mk.2 V6, although i like the looks a lot and obviously the performance is a bit better, i still prefer the mk.1 V6s looks (due to it being soo much different...

how about octane booster? a friend uses it in his pulsar, but i woulnt have thought itd make much diff on a NA? i could be wrong...

Probably a clogged cat then. OR the coil being faulty as you mentioned. All 172s are quite lumpy on idle due to the cams being quite wild apparently....?
