no it's not misaligned.
it has a powerflex dogbone :)
perhaps the title was misleading. it was fine but just after the missed change it developed a bit more movement in it. i can have a look at the bush, perhaps it's moved.
hi, i missed a 3rd to 4th the other day (at high revs, slight grind, nothing out of the ordinary) and since then the gearstick has a bit of play in it when in gear. gear change doesnt feel any different, just the play in the gearstick when in gear.
what part have i likely bolx'd?
edit: are the...
just filling out my insurance proposal forms for new policy. stuck on the estimated value bit.
do i go with flat market value, or do i add on a sum to cover the cost of replacing modifications? mods are declared.
thanks
when i ran the bosch ones i had a misfire at high revs. new ngks fixed the problem. i never had to seal the upper inlet manifold, just used the existing metal gasket.
at the moment i'm preferring how it was on the 95 ron fuel!!
0-2k rpm it's better on 98 ron, but after that it was better on 95 ron, seemed to feel less boggy and more free revving.
i'll reserve judgement until i've done about a months worth of v power (1000 miles), and i'm fitting inlets...
ok, i'm about a 1/3 way through a tank of v power and its solved the problem at low revs :D
but now i have another problem, when i start it after a few hours (ie in the morning or after work) it takes longer to fire up than it use to. almost like a flooded engine. also the revs sometimes go up...
how long ago was last service? someone else recently had a poor idle and it was due to an airleak with the tb or the upper inlets (which are removed to change the plugs)
Re: Do Turini's have a different ET depending on whether they are from a Trophy or a
alternatively you could get some 40-45mm springs, imagen they must do them somewhere
there's only one ball joint on each side, at the bottom between the wishbone and the hub. for the sports anyway, i'd have thought the 1.2 would have pretty much the same set up, bar the arb links.
geometry setups can be done by a garage with a hunter alignment system. but on the clio the only...
on left and right front carriers the top slider can be wiggled about in the hole whereas the bottom one is quite firm in its hole. this normal, or worn?
If u want to do engine work for reasonable monies, then Ported inlets, espace v6 airbox and rs tuner remap are well regarded and should give u better pull through midrange. Engine aside, consensus on best mod is a whiteline rear arb. Then coilovers or eibach springs. If u can live with it...
i've been reading about typical symptoms of a crappy driveshaft. one thing i can say is that on a smooth road it's perfect under any amount of acceleration and speed, and i don't get any crashing under quick cornering. i don't get heavy torque steer either.
i won't rule it out though. it should...
there's a bit of a pattern developing-
a new rack was fitted, it was fine for a couple of days and gradually returned to being crap.
i replaced the wishbone bushes with powerflex ones, it tightened it up but after about half hour driving it had returned to being crap.
i fitted new solid...

what most tend to do is buy the rstuner for £100, buy the unlock license from the fastchip website...
I can't. My cup has had the renault top mount recall where they elongated the holes so I couldn't bolt it down in the right position

Just as a big washer. It will sit flush on the body around the top mount. I don't have the strut brace on mine. Just needs to be washer thickness really. Don't want it too thick as ill have less bolt holding the mount in place.
