i'd love mine to go fast, but a 1.4 si aint really gonna beat owt except the chavs in their corsa's, and i cant insure a 172 cheaply enough, so im modifying mine with bits i can transfer to a 172 later!! :) and with my new 17's it feels like the 1.2 corsa i learnt in!!! :(

do it lad! thats PHat!! lol. seriously, if you can afford to do a big lairy car properly go for it, take it to shows, look good, but performance clios close to standard seem to be the in thing, i know personally im goin 172 kit and carbon fibre on my humble 1.4! i like it tho..:)

Its real easy to run cable through to your doors, i amped up my type-r alpine components that way. just remove the rubber from where it attatches to you car from the door, the plastic plugs have loads of gaps with no connectors, total waste of space, used my dremmel with a drill attatchment to...

yeah, im not keen on replica's, ive generally found them to be low quality, really not a fan of fibreglass. my mate sprays me things cheap/free, his dad owns a garage! :) i'll have to see what i can pick up!!

how do you know the offset will be wrong? are corsa's considerably different?

i dunno bout the door cards tho mate... i'm not sure of the technicalities behind phases, but i got a mk2 phase 1,( early 01, y plate), and i got door cards off an 03 model in fine, 25 quid on ebay.

seriously, you dont realise the difference till u drop em. my mate spent a wedge on JBL stuff, 2x10" sounded muffled and muddy, dropped the 6x9s and lo! sounds great. u dont hear the rear speakers unless u turn round (death) or ur in the back (and thats not u!! ) lol

Hi guys! managed to get my baby back on the road, the diagnostics told us it was the fuel injection relay, and i've ordered new ones, but as a fix, we just swopped them over!! :S lol. she starts first time now, but the dodgy relay must be in control of something else now... what do the other...

im in sheffield. yeah, the first rac guy cleaned down the relays, seemed to think that was it, started first time, been fine for a week. now the same... i do worry about the wires, i had to have all the earth cables and the oil sensor changed when i got it, tho the garage i bought it from did it...

I got a Peco cat-back system, letterbox end, went on perfectly, absolutley gr8, it's just really loud!! lol.
