That seems right for a "normally" driven 1.2 (my girlfriends old 1.2 16v avarage 42ish which is good for AVERAGE). However I can't see how a 182 can average 42mpg over a tank unless it's filled up and just run on motorways/quiet a-roads at steady/slow speeds. I think normally it'll still see...
I see what youre trying to get at but it's not worth £15k or even £10k is it even if it was mint with low/average miles.
Still a good buy though IMO and interested to await the photos; it has the potential to be as clean and tidy as a car with "normal" miles on.

The reason the inside rear lifts is good front end grip and stiff rear roll resistance, it doesn't suddenly lose traction when it lifts as that wheel is completely unloaded anyway. Normaly you can't feel it lifting "hear" it...

Have you been using splined sockets/ring spanners or a hex socket? the latter would normally get that off as less chance of it slipping. Before you do this, put the other 4 surrounding nuts back on very tight.

R888s are alway a little oversized compared with road tyres so best to stick with standard sizes max. 215/50/16 would be massive tractor tyres even if it was a road tyre!!
I'm not sure if the load rating is a reliable indicator of sidewall stiffness. Easiest test is to let the tyre down on teh car and if it flattens like a pancake it's soft, if it doesn't (like PE2s) they're not too soft!!
I'm another "front looks best, rear not so much" opinion. The current S40 looks very similar at the front too - there are hints of R34 Skyline look in there IMO!!
