Check to see whether the light on the dash for the immobililer in the middle is flashing or on constantly. It should change from flashing to constant when you put the key in and turn it before starting. If it stays flashing the key is the problem. PM me if you need any help.

Crow, I used some metalic restorer polish, turtle wax I think from halfords and then the "williams showroom finish" which you spray on lightly and then buff off, it's easier than the polish done in a forth of the time.

I have changed the cable and the throttle body and it still persists. I've just changed to a second cable and it's almost perfect but still sticks a little. I just don't get it???

Mine blows too. In my opinion, the exhaust is too short and catches on the rear mount, pulling it when you accelerate hard. Hence why I can't be bothered to push it all together tight to stop the blowing.
