go there: http://shop-competition.renault-sport.com/
then click "Clio Super 1600"......you will also find some prices....
P.S. The Super 1600 has only one throttle body but also 220hp...;)
Maybe this helps:
"As enhenced the Renault K4M engine is, to tune it from 110 HP to 220 HP is a big challenge !!
The FIA regulation on the S1600 categorie concerning the engine relies on the following statements:
- single throttle box with a max diameter of 60 mm
- max engine revs ...
Yes, OEM compression ratio and also the OEM intake manifold.
I don´t know the 0...60 time, but accelartion was already amazing as the engine is installed in a ClioA and had the short valver gear box.
But now the engine got the RS-intake manifold a a little turbo charger.....f*** it that´s...
Friend of mine used the OEM RS camshafts, a exhaust manifold w/o pre-catalyst (like RS OEM), a 60mm exhaust system and 200 cell catalyst, did remap and got as result dyno-tested 163 hp and 212 Nm out of his F4R-700 engine...
In Germany the biggest availible petrol engine with manual transmission is the 1.2TCE...
The 1.6 16V is only avialible with automatic and the 138hp VVT engine is deleted at all in the price lists. So if you want to have a manual shifted petrol engine with some more power you can decide between...
I would recommend the brakes of the Grand ScénicII 2.0, 4-stud and 300mm diameter. Should be possible to use also the rear brakes then you have 270mm solids...
Hello,
is here somebody who can tell me his personal experience with the 50mm APEX-springs (APEX-No. 150-4020) for the valver?:o
Would be interested in the real lowering rate, handling improvent, stiffness and so on. And with which shocks combined...?
Thanks.
When I was on the dyno 3 years ago I had 133hp at 5990 rpm and 178Nm at 4290 rpm.

Meanwhile I modified some components again, I insert a mid-silencer...
When the Fan an the engine were installed in the Laguna, the fan was ECU controlled. When I installed both in my Clio, I decided to use the temperature switch, due to the fact that I have no air-conditioning and the air-conditioning signal is an input in the ECU.
I installed now a modified 57i-tube with a 172 cup air-box.
The batterie is splitted in two 20Ah AGM-Batteries, that are installed each in the left and right rear side sections.
This is some preliminary work for the 4-2-1 manifold that shall replace the supersprint 4in1.... ;)
What do you think of it...

The base is not the F4R-730, its the F4R-700 with lower compression ratio, but F4R-730 intake-manifold and cams...
I don´t know what is the maximum compression ratio what you can reach by skimming the head when you have a K4M-engine, but with pistons you can got up to 12:1 or even higher...
It´s a TL4-Gearbox that´s also used for the 106hp version of the 1,5Dci engine and it produces a maximum of 250Nm, so that should it be possible to take at least...
Should be O.K., but check if there is enough clearance between valves and piston if you skim the head.
Do you have the factory exhaust collector with pre-catalyst? If yes, remove it and replace by a sport exhaust manifold, there is one availible from Supersrint, but it´s also possible to...
Would be helpfull for better idling behaviour and also filling at high revs. I have catcams´ stage 3 and still OEM comp ratio, works also fine, but will not use the full potential of the cams.
@mini-valver
What pistons do you use? Woessner?
I´m not sure if it´s realy made of cast-aluminium, or only silver painted plastic....I never have seen the RS in natural.
But length and diameter look better for high revs.
The guys from Catcams told me it´s possible up to 7,200rpm with the OEM valve springs. I personally go up to 7,000 that´s enough with the peak power actually at 5,990rpm....
