I´m not so a big friend of thicker head gaskets....I think for additional costs woessner can also make pistons for different comp. ratios....but I wouldn´t be sure what to take, I think someting between 11:1 and 12:1.....

The first three profiles have a smal valve lift in TDC for the inlet compared to the high lift values for the outlet. Peak angle is 124° for the inlet.

I have one question regarding the pipe, is it possible to buy it also stand alone or only as pack with the k&n filter? Do you have a part-number for only the single pipe?
By the way, that airbox with the big 100mm inlet was also used in the Espace V6 and R25 V6 and also the R21...
If you mean with "cable" a mechanical throttle why don´t you simply use the the throttle of the "normal" F4R or the F4P engine?
I installed the throttle of the F4R-780 engine, this fits plug`n`play and the diameter is about 10mm bigger than of the 1.6 16V.
I did this conversion on my engine...

O.K. that engine looks similar to mine, O.K. you have E-Gas version.
But I can´t see the oil-switching valve (and also no wiring) for the cam phaser that is located behind the oil inlet and left side of the last ignition coil.
No oil-switching valve, no VVT, sorry....

Yes I know about how the system works, beside my clio, I own also a MéganeII 1.6 16V, with VVT.

But why is then the engine number still the same? Renault always changes the numbers even if there ist only a screw different.....
What is the stock power of your engine? The non-vvt has 79kW at 5750 rpm and 148Nm at 3750 rpm, the vvt 83kW at 6000 rpm and 152Nm at 4200 rpm.
In my opinion no 1.6 16V Clio of the second generation (1998-2005) hat vvt, equal if the engine had trottle by wire or the mecanical solution....
But the 1.6 16V is a great engine in my opinion.
I know a site from poland where they have put a turbo on a 1.4 16V engine, same like the 1.6...

I love mine, even the car is red, but the R8 Gordini was in his later years also sold in other colours, red, yellow, black and so on.
I think with more professional remapping done on a dyno and not on my desktop and some work to the cylinder head and manifold (channels, compression ratio,...) 140-145hp at about 6500 rpm should be possible with this cam shafts.
You can clearly see, that over 6000rpm the torque drastically...
No it wasn´t decated, it was stock, in addition to the manifold I had only installed a mid-silencer replacement and a Remus back-box, that were normally for the Valver, that has increased the outer hose diameter from 45mm to 53mm.
