Insruance is putting me off a little! Mate works for Renault so I can get it at trade value....they are reluctant to take one in part ex and they have a agreed a low trade in price with the seller so I can have it at that. Depends on condition though!

As a driving experience I prefer my MK1 but for comfort/refinement then it would have to be my MK2. My personal opinion is that its simply not worth it!

Try a brillo pad if it comes off then its not rust! I get that from time to time on my custon exhaust but it just comes off. Just a build off of all the crap on the roads at this time of year. I would have thought that that bit would be stainless steal so it wont rust anyway!
