I though only the light sensor was behind the rear view mirror! With the rain sensor at the bottom of the windscreen (that bluish tint at the bottom)
If it was behind the mirror that would mean it would be on the inside which is fine for a light sensor but not much good for a rain sensor!!
Depends on what sort of plastic its there are two types!! One that will burn when heated and another which will melt. So obviously it would have to be the one that melted!
Cant remember in too much detail it was I while since I left school! ;)
I do like those Kahns, I prefer those to the 6 spoke. The only thing that would worry me is the spokes are quite thin compared to the standard wheel. I have looked as loads of wheels like this just not sure if they would suit a silver 172.
Have you got a side view pic of your car? Ill stick...
What you gonna replace them with? That picture in the other thread that posted with the 172 has made me realise how naff the standard 172 wheels are. They look alright from some angles but not those in the picture :(
Sorry guys :D
They are going to be £61 + delivery (members only) and they are in the post as we speak, so as soon as I have them then you can see them.
Was a pain in the arse hands are still bleeding now!! Main problem was I didnt have a ramp so had little room to work in! The splitter come with recesses in the plastic for the rivots under the bumper but these didnt line up so I had to cut them. Then lining it up was a pain, once I had it in...
I was thinking the same and was worried it would look rubbish once fitted. But im really happy with it just makes the front look a bit more aggressive and lower. I always felt there was something unfinished about the front!
But ill be honest....you can hardly notice its there most...
You can get Speedline Turinis in magnesium they have a slighly thicker spoke and look nice. You can get them for about £1200 4 wheels with Falken tyres.
