Fit one to a Clio RS and if it makes 6 months its doing well!
Stretchy boots are made of a rubber and as the CV's run a seriously aggressive angle the rubber edges rub against one another when turning which destroys the boot. Genuine Renault items (or even FPS replacements) are plastic which...
Re: sonny172cup "track racer project"
You may not have been competitive in your eyes Sonny but you made it to the end of the meet and the car will race again.
Experience with the car will grow alomg with other aspects such as tyre management and other areas that people don't think about until...
Yeah, most likely a poor joint somewhere but check your spark plugs to. My Megane eats plugs and needs a new set every 12k and gives similar random misfiring under boost issues.
If you've still got an LPG conversion on JB are your gas solenoid(s) piggy backing the ECU's injector trigger?
Check injector 3 has power first and then do a continuity check on the trigger line before going mental with a loom swap.
The thing that always puts me off Sony devices is that as soon as a new flagship device comes out Sony drops updates and eventually support for your now tier 2 device.
120A and officially you have to replace the entire starter cable as Renault will not sell the fused link/crimp on its own.
You could solder the link or just cut it off all together but the link is there for a reason.

I've got a bottom end you can have if you collect. Its had oil starvation due to some muppet using way too much silicone on the sump which has blocked the strainer in the pickup but its rebuild worthy and ***FREE***
Jesus, this old arguement again! Next you'll drag up "Mk1 Clio is bettwr than 19 16v"
If you change your own belt then fine, you see its state and know it has been done. If you see say 5-12 clios a month and they're all wrong... well, make of that what you will.
Yeah but why change a £50 component and charge 3 times the labour when they can charge £300 for the part and 2hrs labour... more money for them and easier for the fitter.
I'd get to Dan asap. Ita not dangerous but its damaging your brakes (discs and pads) which on the 197/200 are not cheap.
Lack of proper maintenance is the biggest killer of front brakes on these cars
That may/may not work. When it see's the voltage issue after he starts driving it'll most likely throw the inconsistency fault and limit the revs to 2.5-3k
You'll fimd you've got 5v (normal) on the supply line and with the pedal untouched you should have 0v on the switch position line but it will be something daft like 3.8v constantly.
Welcome to my world ;)
