Sorry, home calls are no longer offered as insurance was stupid. We're in Nottingham (maps and address can be found on our website www.diamondmotors.co.uk)
The "One" is better than the "One X" but if you're going to be Spotify'n and watching movies all the time off mains you will crucify any battery.
Daveski often jokes about his One X using more power than his car does fuel/oil
I was stupid enough to say "I'll do it" one day... the rest is just happened lol
CAN fault was a combo of R2 being under water and a naughty chafing in the rear EPB loom which allowed battery voltage to CAN L/H. Absolutely nothing worked so one garage added a new UPC and Renault just wanted to...
I have a similar argument going on in my head but with my current S4 vs a Note3... I want the larger screen but not at that price (fingers crossed the rrp fals towards the new year)
Yep, if the light has been on before and no-one has cleared the context data the computer will flag it. I'll also scope the pedal tracks and some other bits to prove any faults that may exist.
Just emerged from a 2.5day stint with a Scenic II that had a nasty CAN fault which two other garages...
I have a pedal in stock just in case but I've gotta be honest... these faults are rarely due to the pedal potentiometer.
Normally poor/corroded connections
Kaz, get the pedal tracks scoped (that will rule this component out) and the missfire issue is a tricky one as the description of what it's doing and when it does it is a little vague
Yeah because this couldn't possibly be taken in to account at design stage could it? Pure laziness IMO and even adding a couple of mm to the overall thickness of the rear cover is a viable option for those like myself wanting an "all day" battery.
Granted the Note2/3 are larger devices so had...
It's silly stuff like this that puts me off as I'm not always able to connect to mains or a car charger.
If they can make laptops and netbooks last 8hrs and more why can't they do the same with smart phones?
You need to understand the problem first before you can fix it I'm afraid and a code reading session won't help you achieve this.
Scope time to see what the ecu is seeing (or isn't in this case) to make it throw the reduced output mode.
Most likely cause is a wiring issue leading to a voltage...
Check the two labelled UCH and the one with the Doors diagram (as the UCH also takes a feed from this)... I'd also check the one with a key but in truth check them all!
I run the Jenvey rail and mounts with my RS2 which I had to make some spacers for but it works perfectly (unlike the standard fuel rail)
Fred,
Is the port spacing on the 197/200 rail the same as the 172/182?
I thought it would do otherwise it wouldn't allow the engine to crank but had to ask.
Assuming the fuel pump is priming at key-on? These cars are getting on a bit now and they've always had issues with the in tank fuel pressure reg but just trying to rule a few bits out.
Still serious bits of kit. I know Sodemo picked x40 production F7 units and rejected most for use in early RDR BTCC applications so the engines alone would give a huge advantage.
Add in altered/strengthened suspension points, uprated "standard" suspension and brakes in a shell specifically...
You will find some things frustrating and others better at first... well, I did (and still do sometimes) but on the whole Android is much better than iOS. All apps just seem to integrate better especially the imaging, messaging and social media Apps.
That being said I absolutely hate the...
