I didn't because I wasn't trying to tell people how to do the job. The manual is out there for people to download which allows them to give it a go but if they don't fully understand it they're gambling a lot. I wasn't having a go at anyone either Mark... i'm all for DIY'ing but I hate it when...
Because when i do them Mark i always change the camshaft oil seals as the dephaser is the common one for leaking. Yeah you "can" do the belt change with just the exhaust spinning (providing the crank sprocket is also spinning freely) but you've got to lock the pulley to remove loosen it and it...
Unlikely - CPS wouldn't give a solid red led nor would it flag any fault codes.
Solid red means the key is valid but an important system is not checking in via CAN.
Normally due to wiring issue/poor connection.
Floors are clear. Checked the drains yes but not modified them... what's the mod? Its getting a new cabin filter to when I get a spare hour (bloody hate that job on these)
I can't wait to get the new engines top end assembled now and then fitted in the car (waiting on some aqua blasting bits to come back before going for paint). I also need to call Paul RSTuning tomorrow and get a date for remapping before Christmas to but I'm excited to see how they'll compare to...

Rubbin's Dubbin!
"VW Scene w*****s" or "Seen a Wanker in a VW" - It's the same thing to me. I'm too old and too ginger to be down on the cool kids these days.
Something you will need to have the car plugged in to confirm/deny and possibly replaced. It sounds like the heating element is playing silly buggers to me though and throwing the EML on
Yeah I'm not sure why they have this as I've heard various stories from the Evo scene of dampers breaking at the hub insert and top mounts failing. Can't see how the Clio single piece body can fail like that though but with everything time will tell.
I run them myself to - honestly, not a bad word to say about the BC's and after being on the car for over 4months they still look amazing and the adjusters still work (unlike a set of GAZ's I tried to setup properly for a guy today).
Each to their own I guess but I'm glad I spent my money on...
