Yes there is an aerial built in to the uch which is above the glove box but I'd be careful here as this stuff is easily misdiagnosed and costly in parts. I'm assuming the card still starts the vehicle okay but fails to lock/unlock? How was the signal "tested" by the specialists and did anyone...

There aren't many phase 1's in great condition these days and most will need belts, brakes, exhaust and general running gear work. Did you not get any photos before travelling so far or was it a case of the seller saying "Yeah cous, its proper mint innitz"
