For me in a track car I'd have the motor on a dedicated relay/switch so its either on or off and at the screen... sod direction control as thats weight.

So glad to hear this especially about the motorway noise because mine is landing on Monday (172 straight thru). The only thing I'm not sure about is cutting the rear bumper... I'm sure it'll sound loverly at idle with the 197 cams.

Why would you want to keep the panel? (Genuine question) It won't do anything apart from light up and display a temp/control fan speed. If you were going to the effort of putting in a Cup/manual heater box why not just put in the control panel amd mod the existing loom. If you wanted it to all...

They can be cleaned/refurb'd but not worth the effort imo. The cost new is about £45 so easier to just bite the bullet and call GSF for one.

Injectors are wired in banks so I don't think they will show up as individually faulty on diags. May be better off with the methods above tbh

Engine running and disconnect the jets one at a time. If the engine note changes for the worse the injector was working. If you unplug one and it makes no difference... BINGO!

As above. The panel cannot move the cogs as its merely a control unit. You will need the steppers and to add it to the canbus so it actually works... then you'll need CLIP to configure the network. Really NOT worth the effort

You will need to change the heater box as well as the panel as the twistie type uses steel wires to move bits where the climate uses stepper motors to move them for you. You will also need to do some wiring as the main electrical earth and CAN signals route via the climate panel. Just leaving...

So what is the RS Tuner telling you the cause of the lights is? Check your seat belt anchors to especially the height of them cos I bet one is lower than the other.

If its heat soak thats effecting it simply cleaning it won't do anything, it'll need replacing. I believe Laine was selling a new, updated part with loom recently.

Our tCE does it and I've had loads in for various services that do it to. Ours is the clutch position switch and some silicone spray normally stops it for a month or two. Just remove the switch from the pedal assembly and see if it stops. If so either replace the switch or do what we do and...

Most likely either an HO2 or CTS fault. Ideally a look at the live data whennits properly cold will confirm or deny this. Mick
