not enough lacquer, you really need to soak it with thick wet coats, a light dust aint good enough because it almost dries upon contact, making it rough and matt, putting it on thick lets it find "itself" and settle before drying
i know there has been a few trheads on this but i got my letter today and was wondering do i need to go get it checked as i had a crash back in march and the catch was replaced???
dont mean to burst your b*lls mate but the bodyshop you got it done at should fix it for free as its there fault, if they are a decent body shop they should know that most body kits require some adjustments to get it perfect
98% of halfords staff aint got a clue IMO,i wouldnt have recommended autosol as iirc theres a fine cutting compound in that??? could mark that painted bits, could be thinking of something else tho, you should always read the labels when using any chemicals,
get a sealent on them to protect the polishing ;) and they should only need a soapy wash infuture.
ps pour some wonder wheels in the grass and see what happens ;)
+1 jungle jim on here fitted a sport bumper to a non-sport and iirc the dude had no experience of body work etc and it was spot on, if you paid someone to do this i would take it back and get it sorted as its more noticeable on drivers side, but as said if your happy thats all that counts, all...
