Lovely. Not a 130 bhp with the exhaust thing on the engine. Actually strictly speaking it will be 130bhp but the exhaust thing knocks it back to roughly 120 that the first gtis came with. The first lot were 120, then they modded the engines around year 2000 and got 130, then new exhaust laws...

Happened to me. Though obvious now, didnt occur to me at the time to take wheel off and put mole grips on the remaining bit sticking out. Got it out with the help of Red16 off here.

Its condensation. As the unit works, atmospheric air condenses on the outside of the aircon and drips down.

People seem to have prejudges against VTS, often without even driving one. There is so little between the VTS and 16v Clio. Personally, I would sooner have a 16v Clio but seeing as they are too old and unreliable I got a VTS. Youre doing this to save money? Expect plenty repairs on a 16v...

48k 2000 VTS. Just about to get a 12k mile service on Wednesday. Had very little go wrong. Shes rapid too.

Ive noticed increase mpg. Odd because I thought it was better with cold air. Maybe the car warms up quicker, I dunno.

Nasty. I thought you werent meant to lift the bonnet though? Gives fire oxygen. Suppose its your instinct to lift it to see if you can sort out the fire before it takes hold.
