I went from a RT to a VTS. It is a joke how much quicker they feel at first but you soon get used to it. Just dont go silly. Get a 106 (or a VTS lol) pretty much as quick as a 172 in most situations and they handle great. [Edited by Chris1.4RT on 18 June 2005 at 2:52pm]

Lol, Im even considering downgrading the VTS to a 172.... my VTS uses more fuel than my mates mk2 172 did.

Lovely 172, but you want shot for that exhaust on the 1.6. Dont do that to the 172. (and leave them lexus lights on the 1.6 too)

I remember seeing a Saxo 1.1 advertised on a small car dealers site. It was modded beyond belief. There was a bit in the ad saying totally ruined by previous owner - should sell for hundreds more Lol, honest at least.

Its been listed on ebay about 3 times and never sold. Gets posted on here each time too. Some people dont know when to stop sticking stuff on their car. No panel is safe.

Well I often see people on here talking about 172 prices and how some are overpriced but this is the first 172 Ive seen for less than £7500 with that sort of mileage on an 02.

Is £6900 trade for an 02 Clio 172 with 26k on it good? I think it is personally as most of the trade 02 cars have been close to or higher than £8000. Its 30 miles away but may have a trek down and take a peek. Ideally I want a 53/04 but this 02 car wont cost me any extra on what paying for...

Does seem a bit steep unless its got ridiculously low miles. I was looking at a 02 172 with 48k on and they wanted £8495. Jokers.

Lovely. Never seen red mk1 172 in the flesh, just on pics. Ive only ever seen silver and monaco blue.

I agree they can be quick. Tin cans with daft engines in them, probably a hoot to drive. I just personally would feel embarrased as f driving one.
