TL4 takes 2.1/2.2 liters of "NFJ" IIRC
On all 6 speed gearboxes there's a HOOGE yellow sticker that clearly states in multiple languages that these gearboxes are "NOT fill to overflow". In past experience of seeing NDx/PKx/TLx boxes over filled they tend to spew it out of the breather though...

If not, remove motors and replace them. Halfords sell a "Ring" aftermarket item that fits for £16 so don't be doing something stupid like buy it from Renault as they're around £48 each

There's a few ways of checking but non of them are DIY i'm afraid as you'll need access to a minimum of a 2-channel scope and go thru each ignition coil one at a time. Flashing MIL's are **almost** always caused by faulty ignition or injection though not temperature.
Halfords Pro is a FACOM product from memory. They make Draper, MAC and a few others.
For the money they're excellent value and top quality. No flank-drive though which is IMO great even though its no longer a Snap-On only thing.
No, you have to leave the SRS ECU in place so it can work the other units; pre-tensioners, inertia reels, passenger air bag, lateral crash sensors, etc
If you have an ESP equipped vehicle this system uses the SRS inertia and G-Sensors to further prohibiting the removal of the SRS system. It can...
You use CLIP to reconfigure the SRS ECU so that it simply doesn't have the bag unit by de-configuring the trigger lines.
It's not something you want to play with if you don't know what you're doing but its not an overly long process.
We do it for £20 if you fancy a drive to Nottingham.

Change the PW daily? I dont know how they do it tbh and It's annoying but if you use eBay as your main point of sale you need to make it as safe/secure for you and your customers as possible.
A "TL4" gearbox crunching between 2 and 3! I'm shocked to hear it (That's sarcasm by the way). If its not doing it now when gently selecting cogs but does it when rushed then its most likely not going to be long until its doing it all the time i'm afraid.
The synchros and bearings between 3 &...
HID kits are set to become illegal if they ever bring out the new MOT regulations but if the car has projector lenses or if there's a beam pattern it's not going to be an issue.
They should spend more money on improving driver education IMO. As most see it as a birth right rather than the...
It's difficult to say exactly without seeing it chap. They do appear to misfire at col idle anyway. As for the evap control valve issue you need to understand how the circuit works. It could be a broken wire rather than the valve itself.

You deffo go em in the right pins? My guess is the seats you have are equipped with lateral air bag units and the Cup units didn't so the SRS ECM is seeing them and saying "Hang on, I need configuring" and if that's the case no resistors will help you and you need someone with CLIP to...
Sorry to thread hijack but ive got a price for them being re-trimmed.
I'm sending mine in next week to be done so you can see exactly what's what. If its good I'll arrange a non-profit group buy.

Today saw the start of "Operation Coops" which is removing all things dirty/old on the 172 and replacing them with new items and for the bits I can't replace, have them cleaned. Today ive done:-
Coolant system flush and type-d refill with a new reservoir bottle. Vibratech mount fitted. Rear...
I nearly had this myself, its fekking amazing. Settled for a slightly lesser unit though in the end but I prefer Kenwood over Alpine.
Downsides to the KiV: it has no CD player (not really a negative) but the real deal buster for me was the facia cannot be removed (ghey)
