as gaz said, stick with 195's on a 172 cup especially if lowered because of the offset you'll be rubbing. but if you're still running the 4x4 renault setup then you'l be fine, should be stiffer sidewalls depending on the rubber too.
i tried 205's once and nearly ripped the front arch off!

She's as low as possible for trackdays, not sure on a measurement. Still got arch liner falling after a year and a half!
Yeah the renault pads aren't actually that bad tbh. I never had problems with them even on track.

6.5 to 60mph iirc which is probably what mine kicks out now. It pulls better up to 100 than the tin can but then clios were never good high end anyway!

Check the gearbox oil, they normally leak a little. The cats normally break into pieces aswell.
Also check the brake calipers on older models.
