laquer on the black looks VERY dry unless you havnt primered them? if i was you id give it all a few coats of laquer to give it a nice shine
spray it all black, let that dry, write the red lettering, let that dry, then laquer the lot is how id have done it
it will have a plastic spring that bends when you push it one way. just carefully use a flat headed screwdriver to push it in and itll drop out.
when putting them back in, if the pipe is hard to push over the nipple, heat the pipe up with a lighter, itll soften it, then itll go on easy
just different ways of painting it
if its a solid colour it dont *need* laquer, you can just paint it in high solid 2k, basically a paint thats got laquer mixed in with it and it hardens solid. from renault im sure they will paint them 2 stage (basecoat/laquer) being water based
either way...
all these people giving prices are basically just plucking figures out of thin air.
without actual pictures of the damage and to see whether the boot floor will pull out with a dozer, whether it will push out with a 1/4 power, whether the back panel is repairable, whether it needs both, whether...
you aint holding that with just fibreglass.
you need to get the bumper secure and in place before you even look at fibreglass.
you need to make yourself some little rectangle strips out of some old plastic or metal, drill a hole through either end, put the bumper cracks up against each other...
nearly all plastics go "fluffy" when prepping them. bumpers, spoilers, sidestrips etc. just give them a wetflat after youve prepped them to remove it. then build up the primer to remove the actual texture.
you'll only need like P320 dry and p800 wet. thats it
i smoothed mine on my old clio as i prefer the smooth look.
if youre gonna respray it anyway then theres no reason not to.
you gonna do the boot pop too?
apparantly what people do is run 2 cables from the battery to the front of the bumper, then if the battery dies you can still put it on...
dont look like loads of damage tbh, under 3k easy.
new bonnet, front panel, bumper, headlights, radiator, windscreen, grille, bumper grilles, possibly arch liners.
paint it for £400 or so, bumper, bonnet, flick into the wings n spray the front panel
just gotta make sure the roof didnt crease...
