you can spray them on but itll look a mess on the inner wheel as itll still be silver, you aint gonna be able to clean the brake dust off or anything so itll just be a very poor paint job.
tyres are no problem, no need to take them off really, just mask them up.
you should drop the wheels off...
you can spray them on the car, just mask out the tyres. wouldnt recommend a strong colour change without taking them off as you cant paint the insides of the wheels, or clean them properly either.
its not gonna be a great paintjob either.
wont need laquer
matt black is matt, laquer will just send it to gloss finish
primer aint essential for something so small tbh. just give it a scuff up with pretty much anything over p320 (p320/p400/p600/p800/p1000/p1200) and just spray it, will be fine
your wheels look glossy black so id...
they aint bad tbh, lots of people quick to run them down simply because its halfords. personally ive never had a problem with any ive bought, but i usually goto my local paint supplier anyway as its closer
but the cost someone will try to knock off the asking price for stonechips come selling time will probably equate to the same price as a full car bra anyway lol
wont save/make money, will just look like an idiot while you drive your car around.
but, if you like em, carry on, your car
so buy a car, cover it up in black film, make everyone laugh at you, then sell it and lose a few grand depreciation anyway.
i simply cannot see the point in a bonnet bra on a clio as a permanent thing. i can understand it for a modified car that drives to/from shows, but to put one on simply to...
shouldnt put any primer on cracks or blemishes or anything like that. try to get your surface is good as possible before you start any primering. side strips are ok as its just texture, you can get rid of the texture by building up a few layers of primer.
lazy people who do s**t repairs and...
i wouldnt bother with smart repairs mate, the ammount if rectifications ive had to do over the years is unreal. peeling laquer, reactions, s**t blow ins etc. just get it blown in at a bodyshop or get the whole bumper painted for about £80
ive never saw the point in lowering a car less than 60mm, it just aint noticeable enough. (with the exception of low cars as standard obviously)
all imo of course
