My H&R's have better damping than the original shocks. The apex were a bit harsher and eibachs fine (although they raised the car!!).
Get H&R's, you'll love them.
Mine rubbed quite a bit and smoked without even applying any pressure to start with. As above, take it easy for about 250 then build it up.
Mine are wearing very well felt superb on track the other week.
With the different style dampers these have, can normal 182 coilovers be fitted to a Trophy.
I want no comments like 'why bother' etc. Just need to know.
ie, would the 182 H&R coilover kit fit a Trophy?
I heard about it on the traffic update and decided to cut into marlow, took me ages to get through and onto work.
It's so annoying that the 404 is a pig of a road cos it cuts so much of my journey time down if it runs smoothly.
I'm in Ware, near Hertford. Just haven't got the time or the money at the moment to get them sorted although they're bubbling like mad now so might have to. The paint is lifting off them!
I'm in herts and can't find anyone that powder coats. The nearest I can find is spit and polish down in Kent. A few in here recommend them and iirc they quoted me £50 per wheel.
Mine opened up around 40,000 and now I'm over 65,000 its even better. No engine mods either.
Still has a mind of it's own though when it comes to fuel. I try and put optimax/higher on fuel in but it doesn't always feel quicker running it.
ITG panel filter, anything else apart from the Maxogen isn't worth it imo. I wouldn't bother with the eibachs if you want a noticable drop cos you won't see one. Get coilovers, H&R's are what I have and they are grrrrrrrrreat.
Infact just the H&R coilovers alone will transfrom the car considerably.
If you bend it back I wouldn't use the point again cos you're making the metal weaker!
Use the chassis further back. The jacking points are shite anyway.

Brembo Standard discs

That's it. The 182's I've been in or driven have quite different braking to the 172's...pretty crap actually.
I wouldn't alter the original setup and wouldn't go to 15's personally.
Sure 15's will pull better but you might get more sideward tyre roll depending on the tyre.
Sorry about that mate, had just got back from work and a shocker of a drive home. I'll be honest...was a bit moody lol. Will say hello next time dude.
Still as dirty as saturday, she'll get sponge action this weekend. My stone chips are getting dirty now!
Yeah I know they'll need a while to bed in. I'm not that stupid, just a little bit;).
It could be anything under those arches. iirc gary has no lining either, where as I have bits lol.
GaryG has a similar ride height to me and says his is fine. And what about the GDI car?? Bizzare, these cups are different in many ways.
4 x 195's ordered instead of the 205's...stick with what you know best I guess.
I'm sure they are as I've said before, driving 182's with them on they feel fine but on my cup they do seem to have side movement. Not slating them at all but as you know, confidence pays a big part in how you drive and if it's not there...
Might have to cancel my order of paradas now, can't...
And GuyS and GaryG who likes them. I'm just over concious of ripping my arches out! The PE2's in 205 wide look HUGE and it's only an extra 10mm. But looking at the Parada's they look a bit smaller.
We'll see I guess on saturday but will go back to contisports if they give me grief.
I did and don't like em plus they rub like mad because of the bulbous design, which I can't do with. Even on 30 psi at the fronts they are extremely light feeling which isn't the best. Maybe the neg camber I have, dunno?!
