more air without a remap sounds to me like it will run too lean and in turn damage the engine.
Also being that it is inside the air intake I can only see that it may benefit at low to medium revs. Above that it would have to spin bloody fast not to be restrictive. Imagine how much air a 172...
Just ordered the Silicone Air feed pipe (Nick Hill) between the Throttle body and the Air box to get a bit more air in. Standard pipe reduces to about 63mm and this one stays at 70mm all the way. This should help with my Green replacement filter breathing. Next stop is to fit the following:-...

Cheers for all your comments. I have now drien in the wet and the dry this weekend and can say I will never buy contis again. I moved the contis on the rear to the front (so I can wear them out quicker to fit F1s) and had the new F1 GSD2s on the back. The back is so under tight control now...
