Service it even if it's for piece of mind or just an oil change. Halford 5w40 is fine and not too expensive.
And as Blink says, get an ITG panel filter.
Oh yeah, how dumb of me!! Oops!
Another reason for change is the bodywork. Suppose if I save not buying a new one I could pay for the touch up. Big stone hits on the front bumper and a couple of nasty hits on the bonnet, and a small crease!
65,000 miles is approaching quick. Gonna have the cambelt changed along with water pump (if needed), AUX belt etc when it's all in bits as soon as I can.
Question is, do I keep it or chop it in for another low mileage 172 cup. Don;t really want a different car and the test drives I've had...
That's 4th one in one side and 5th new one the other. Halfords are doing buy 1 get 1 free at the mo so changed both.
Renault couldn't find a fault when it went in for the problem, say no more!
4th set (on one side) of headlamp bulbs went at the weekend and the side light! Sure they're supposed to last quite a while?
Anyone else get through bulbs like this? f**king annoying.
Cup but then I would say that.
Try them both out and make your mind up that way.
btw you can get blue white bulbs that aren't far off xenons...problem solved lol.
As above, tyres might play a part in this and what I've also learned over the past 3 years, pressures can play with the cars handling a lot!
1 psi out on a side and mine snakes all over the shop.
I have the DS2500 with brembo discs, and they're great. Better than the Renault option but I never had any issues with the standard renault brakes either, never faded once round track.
You lot should learn to glide the car more lol. Eh jon_r;)
Just been upgraded to a dual 2.7 G5 with 23" Cinema HD Apple display (I have so much desktop, lol)...love it. Anyone else use one?
*awaiting abuse from the other side*
