my valver was a lot quicker than an rsi i drove and mine was down on power get a valver deffo!

a valver is a 1.8 16v clio mate mk1. 17s on your car will make a big diff in acceleration. with higher powered cars, its not really that bad. handling is deffo affected too. looks mint tho! "Do it" :D

mk2 clios are quite common therefore u will be able to pick one up cheap, the mk1 is a rare car and will hold their value a lot better IMO. i bought mine not long ago n i could of had a mk2 for the same price if not cheaper. at the end of the day, which ever u go for it will be a nice, fast car!

mk1, u dont see many of them! great performance (quicker than 182) 0.1 sec slower than cup to 62 tho, but has alll toys! cup looks up to date and a lovely looking car but not too clever interior or gadgets! mk1 will be cheaper to...

i agree with most of the above comments!...... very loud, feels like it revs easier, maybe a little slower early gears but i think u can notice a slight difference in high gears/motorway driving! dont worry about mot, its only once a year!

best of both worlds haha. tell u what tho!...my brakes were better than the ctr and possibly the handling but didn really get to test it much as its an airfield! but mine got coilovers n 310mm discs so may have somethin to do with it!lol

i was thinkin of getting one next but i dont no whether theres a big enough gap in performance for me! they are quicker IMO lol..... but my next car i want to feel realy fast! prob have to look at a turbo!decisions decisions! wont be for a while mind but i like to think ahead! :D

its just ive alwasys liked type r but cant get insured? i drove my bosses today n felt miles better than my 172! quicker and just all round a better car! IMO
