I have just jacked my car up and checked for any play in the wheel by grabbing it at 12 and 6 and rocking it, very little play which i think is the bearing as it does it at 9 and 3 aswell, but am i checking it right?

I noticed today that when I was dirving and went over a speed bump or was turning that there was a small clunk noise, so i pulled over and wiggled the wheel from left to right and there was a series of small clunks! Any ideas what this could be? Patrick

I need to replace my rocker gasket but I dont have a torque wrench to do it back up with again. Can any advise me if this is essential or will doing the bolts up to a decent tightness be ok? Patrick
