After having the plugs out today to do a compression test the tips of my spark plugs were a bit white, so im thinking the car is running lean.
So what do i need to do to doible check it and fix it?

Hi there, im fitting brembos to my car but they are in a bit of a sorry state at the moment, lacquer peeling etc, i want to paint them red but how do i need to prep them? Do i need to use primer?

I am getting an oil change this week and I am supplying my garage with the filter and oil, I am going to use 10w40 (or should i use 5w40) and i was just wondering which oil u recomend, where i can get it, how many lires I need and price!

My strero is playing up recently, it will just randomly go crackly in all modes (radio, cd, Aux in) If i turn the radio off and on again it will normally cure if fro another while?
Any ideas?

My wishbone balljoint went today and my wheel "fell off" and f****ed my wing Iv just gone to remove the balljoint piece to put in the new 1 and iv go the part off the wishbone that is held on with 2 bolts but when i went to remove the piece in the hub (the pin type piece) i cannot get it out...
I just changed my plugs and leads to try and solve a misifirng problem and there was quite alot fo oil in my spark plug wells? Whats the deal with this? Rocker gasket?
Could this have been whats causing the misifirng below 2.5k revs?
Iv changing my cap and rotor arm today on my valver and i have got the cap off but cannot really see a way or removing the rotor arm other then perhaps pulling it off? Any ideas?
Basically up to 2.5k revs it can misfire and judder with no power then suddenly it will stop and the car goes as normal. Has been getting graduallty worse for last week and now does it alot more then before, although it doesnt always do it :S.
Mates reckon i should check my leads/plugs/dizzy...
Iv just had 1 of my front struts apart and have put the spring back in etc and compressed it to get nut on but i need to know how tight i do it up (the nut that holds the whole thing together) Im guessing i just do it up as far as it will go and make sure its tight?

Basically i was getting clucking from low gear acceleration and also somtimes if i hit a bump in the road. My gearstick was also moving back and forwards on and off throttle.
Iv just finished changing my mount but its still clunking! :( Good news is at least the gear stick is solid now!:clown...

Had a fully rebuilt engine dropped in about 4k ago, with cams and pulleys/headwork etc. Seems to be a good car, looks pretty mint...
Iv just changed the front pads on my escort and i decided to bleed them as they felt a bit spongy once i had put them in. I bled the fronts but didnt do the backs, but they still feel quite spongy, do i need to bleed the backs? Also do i need to bleed them in any particular order?
