well had a look in the manual and it says its just under the top half of the engine on front of the sump, scrubed away with a wirebrush but still couldnt find anything had a look on my V5 document said there what my engine number is, but is different to how they told me it shoudl start they...

thats what i thought, u dont need the engine number for example if you were ordering parts yourself... ? but do you know where it is anyway schweps so i can take a look to shut them up? - (trying to get a decent quote is just doing my head in now)

so rightfully i need both kits? and does £56 sound right for a cambelt kit?

that would explain my old clio was just 1.2 no RL, RN, RT etc.. even on log book just clio 1.2 i never had shiz, no central locking eletric windows power steering, nout, and was 98 R reg :P

ah ok cheers, cause i asked him again and hes determined that its 7 quid he said the cambelt kit has all the pulleys and tensioners? im geting confused whats soposed to come with what?

just got a quote from my brother who can get discount parts from euro parts told me cambelt kit 56quid Plus VAT and AUX Belt kit 7quid plus VAT ?? does this seem right? ive had a look on here and people saying its like 100+

duno... doubt it as its not stoping use the vehicle properly :P but thing is you gota drive it to hear it rattle, otherwise i would sort it out!! ask the girlfriend, she thinks its coming from over my side :S

Just rang price brothers, and got a price for Cambelt and AUX belt change, they said rough price (because they have to know my engine number) it would be £365 +VAT. this consists of Cam/Timing Belt Aux Belt Water pump Pullys and Tensioners Anyone think this is a good price? as looking at...

think i may either go for the clio sport :D - bigger engine :D or something new at the time
