F0xy so if I take the 172 pump and put it in the valver housing that will physically fit in the tank, will the wiring and pipes all match up perfectly or is it a case of cutting and splicing wires as well?

Today I didn't really get anything done on the 172, however I spent the day stripping the P down.
Managed to get the P stripped down and discovered it was the bottom end that was shagged.
All the bits I wanted to sell got organised...

Mmmm was kinda hoping for an easy install. Nevermind will make my mind up over the next couple days if I want to use it or not. I do prefer the mk2 clocks and would like to use the 172 interior loom so I can keep the better central locking :/
Has anyone tried fitting a 172 dash into a mk1? Just wondering if the mounts are roughly the same as fitting the dash and the interior wiring loom would mean I would be able to use the 172 alarm/immob/central locking as well as the 172 clocks :)

I want to run PAS or electric steering on my mk1 f4r, I've been told the hard pipes on the valver rack will get in the way of the downpipe, sooo I wanted to know if anyone else had managed to keep pas or use leccy steering on a mk1 f4r
