Clio MK1 F4R Conversion: Tacho Wiring, ECU Pin out?

  Clio 16v 'YOJ'
Hey guys,

Been doing the wiring today as per f0xy's guide (THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT :D)

What I want to know is where do I get the signal for the rev counter from ( I presume its the ecu) if so which pin do I need to splice into, or do I take a connection off of the white plug (Id prefer to do thsi tbh) if so which pin?

Im guessing the feed for the rev counter is the only function of the pin on the ECU and so therefore would it be okay to cut that wire and then solder a longer piece to go through the bulkhead and onto the back of the MK1 Clocks.

Any info would be helpful

Cheers

Craig

edit:

I know about the 10k pullup is this the correct way to wire it and is there any specific 10k resistor I need to buy? I noticed that maplins sold 10k resistors with different w ratings.

Cheers
