iv herd but valver engines and 1.7 volvos but what are my options and which would b cheapest/easiest?

i was thinkign about this and had a quick butchers at my mk1 and i reckon all it will take is to get a feed to the place where the switch goes and replace the manual mechanism wiht a motor? any1 tried this b4?
