Does anyone know of a good garage that can fit lowering springs around the herts/essex/beds area. I know of R-tec but theyre a bit pricey.

Im getting mine doen as soon as I can find out which ones are best. On the K-tec site they state Eibachs do 20mm front and 15mm rear but guys on here ahve said they only do 10mm all round...whats the score? Id rather go for Eibachs but not sure how much different a cup would look with them.

Are they any good? Cost? Full system?

Thanks for the comment CUPPY, sometimes Id rather have advice from everyone in here than the garages. I dont want it like a hoover but just sat nicely, stiffer ride would be nice but doubt thatll happen with them.

Im thinking the Pi springs BBPT do, 25mm at the front and 15mm at the rear. They gave me £145 fitted. It must be noticable??

So 100 snots would mean theyre ok then??

Well, very mixed views. I did hear tramlining isnt as bad with F1s. Must say though, in the rain theyre pretty good but Im still taking it easy for a few hundred miles. Should be getting her lowered soon so see how that feels aswell??

Just had some F1s fitted to my cup (GS-D2s) and Im finding them really squidgy, especially at the rear, they seem to make the car feel like its swaying. Is there a running period at all?? They dont seem as hard as the contis. Does anyone else find this at all?

It might be cos my contis were pretty run down after 24000 miles aswell??

Just had 4 new GS-D3s fitted to my cup, theyre really squidgy and the back end seems on edge when not going straight!! Is there a bedding in peroid at all does anyone know? All the reviews Ive heard in here and in the mags say they are great...perhaps its because theyre brand new. Comments...

Did it make a metalic ping aswell, like a clip was coming loose? Thats what I had. The Renault guy said there was absolutely nothing wrong with them, but they make a noise. If I could put up with it then ok...but I couldnt!! Did my head in and made me feel a bit unsure.

Has anyone put Pi springs a cup yet. The place I spoke to said they are a 15mm drop at the front and 25mm at the back. Im not too fussed on how low it looks but more so the handling.

Same here, electrics was the reason I got got rid of my last car, but it was a bit more serious. Ive got the Bosch ones from Halfords, brilliant white I think. Ill try another one... Cheers mate

How long should main beam lamps last in a cup?!?! Im getting intruiged why Im changing them so often. Could there be a problem somewhere that has caused me to change 2 since xmas?? Any help would be apprecieted folks, cheers.

Alright mate, Thought Id say something on this but it may not apply to you with a V6. Ive got a cup and recently put some EBC kevlar pads on and this caused a nasty clunking sound. Got it checked by Renault and they said it was fine. But, I cant stand it so have bought some Renault ones...
