I just do the usual...keep tyres properly inflated, fluids topped up and clean as much s**t from the arches as I can on a fairly regular basis to stop any rusting
Annoying buzzing could be the climate control sensor/fan which is situated on between the sun visors in the interior light console
I had the same in my 172 an dit drove me fooking crazy...turns out taing it apart & cleaning solved the problem
f**k..that sounds kinda hairy, like you say, good job it didn't go off on the motorway.
I'd have to hound Renault for some answers...definately not right
Yep....really f**ks me off as well paying over £200 for my 172 when it's a pretty economical car.
Surely there are lot of bangers on the roads causing far more damage to the environment but are being taxed less.
Why people post s**t like that up on youtube is beyond me
In some situations there is f-all you can do. I've hit a few pheasants and rabbits...they often come out of nowhere and there's no way you can react fast enough.
I'd still avoid animals at all cost though...I couldn't give a t** about...
No bodywork damage though which is very lucky....that's the expensive bit to fix.
TBH swerving is natural reaction if you have time to see the animal. I would happily swerve and ding my car to avoid hitting a cat....foxes are another matter though.
On looks alone I think the 197 is a good car
Haven't driven one but the only glitch from what I've read is the gearing with the sixth ratio being a little short for motorway driving
Welcome to CS..nice car you have there and in the best colour:D
Clutch in the 172 is quite tricky....takes some getting used to.
Bang under acceleration is probably engine mounts.....common on 172s, mine does it now and again.
