Best engine oil for 172 Cup

Remember the complexity and delicate nature of the highly tuned French 2 litre engine and choose the oil accordingly

    197 vs 182

197 looks way better than the 172/182 but I suppose it's all subjective:D

    green induction kit

Should have done some research before buying....be prepared for lots of noise and a loss of power & torque
  10. Neil G

    Cold Air Feeds?

Yeah but on highly tuned cars (usually forced induction) a big slug of oil vapour going through the intake could be enough to cause det. On a normal road going Clio doing it is pointless

What peoples views on this Oil ?

    Subaru to a 182

I went from an Impreza to a 172 and found the Clio much easier to live with and the MPG a delight considering it's performance.

Clio 172 MPG - Very Good

172 is a pretty economical car considering the performance on offer...I was well impressed with my 172's MPG after owning an Impreza

    Cold weather REALLY helps!

    No difference....still slow

    Young 172/182 owners question

No shortcuts Do the time is s**ters like most people do, build up your own NCB then get one when the insurance is a sensible price.

    Should I go for a V6?

    lol :D

    Second impressions of the 197

Agree about the car feeling faster as a passenger.my 172 felt well rapid when I was taken for a test drive in it.....behind the wheel though it feels pedestrian! I'm a big fan of the 197....underrated but in a way that's a good thing

    Mature ReaultSport Drivers..

Totally agree I'm over 32 as well....at the end of the day we're the people that can run Clio RS without having to pay £2000 odd a year insurance:D

Very cool Gash wheels though....would have looked far better on Turinis:)

    182 or 172. What ya think ?

172....not keen on the twin exhausts of the 182
  24. Neil G

Anyone store their Clio and drive something else?

Spot on I've accepted the fact that's it's winter and my cars going to get covered in shite and road salt etc but am not going to stress about it and start cleaning it in the dark & cold everyday when I get home from work. Good cleaning of arches, underside etc every two weeks or so does the job

just rang up about a 172.....

Should have been done at 5 years If it's a really good example get them to change it or knock money off
  28. Neil G

Anyone store their Clio and drive something else?

I agree with that as well but TBH I find being overly protective and worrying about cars stressful and I don't need that in life. If you have the space i.e large garage, live in a nice area and have the time to look after your car that's good....I do feel for people who live in areas where...
