I don't see how it's a bargain at all? I'd go as far as saying it's overpriced - there are completely straight ones that look mint/unmolested with less miles going around the 10k mark on AT. By the time you put the wheels on this back to a decent colour, you'd not be far off buying a nicer one...
As with anything Renault, you'll need to pull something off some clips, and the clips will break. Trying to take off interior grab handles without breaking them should be the final challenge on Takeshi's Castle - no-one would ever win, ever.
There was a guy on here trying to make new thump grips using different materials, I remember seeing it, anyone else recall who it was or what thread? He was making his own and spoke about producing them, at quite reasonable prices.
I don't think they've got the technology for that yet... ;)
Should've lurked on all the black friday deals, I saw a TV in ASDA, 32" HD go for £100 (wasn't the best brand mind).
I got my mum a 32" LG last year, from Amazon; was more like ~£220, but near enough - take it you've trawled Amazon...
If you can go to an r27, then that's a good upgrade, but if you're talking early 197's in run of the mill colours then I'd rather have the RB 182 personally.
Incase anyone hasn't seen it, and this seems to have developed into the 987 thread;

This is the latest solution to IMS failure/prevention. If the price is similar to that of the IMS Retrofit then it's...
Is FM for iOS/Android no longer a complete joke? I bought it a few seasons ago and it was a complete waste of time, because it was so easy; you could sign world-beaters for League 1 sides.
I'd love to own one, but I drove a 106 when I was looking to buy my first car and I couldn't use the accelerator without hitting the brake all the time too, and even with the seat all the way back my knees were bent quite far outward. :(
Re: Advise of selling LY 182?
I've got some advice, get a better camera/upload somewhere with better quality. ;)
In all seriousness, if I were you I'd be wanting ~£3500, so would price slightly higher perhaps, not unrealistic to ask for 4k; I know some might say that's high, but if you're...
It's just the age old finance 'thing', so easy to convince yourself it's worth it when you look at the monthly repayments, but when 6 months later you take what you've bought for granted, still paying for it is an annoyance - like getting phones on 24 month contracts - never again.
987 is just as quick if not quicker than the 996 as far as I remember, wouldn't be worth paying the extra for parts and insurance for the 911, just for the sake of having a 911.
Plus that interior. :(
The 3.2 S is 280hp I believe.
EDIT: Looks nice, interior looks really clean, in full black the interior doesn't look as dated; how much was it if you don't mind?
If she does more miles in the car than you, with it insured in your name, it is fronting, as far as I'm aware. As for the NCB for named drivers, some companies do, but I think it's the norm for only that company to then accept it as credible NCB in future; if you go elsewhere after they may...
